MUNtra

What is MUNtra?

MUNtra is an initiative to change the culture surrounding Model United Nations (MUN) conferences in India.

We wish to make MUNs in India:

To achieve these goals, we wish to provide free, comprehensive, and accessible resources that will help you get better at the various skills that MUNs help you learn. The skills for which we shall provide resources include, but are not limited to:

Why start MUNtra?

Let's be frank: MUNs are not what they used to be. Most of the executive board members and delegates treat MUNs as a space for frolicking, frivolity, and money-making rather than a space for learning and personal growth. This is not just counter-productive but also harmful on both a personal and societal level.

To re-centre the focus and aim of MUNs at fairness, learning, and excellence through competition, there needs to be a change in the culture surrounding MUNs. MUNtra is our humble effort towards bringing about that change in culture.

Who runs MUNtra?

MUNtra is the brain-child of Ansh Bansal. He is the founder and chief editor of MUNtra.

A quaint and peculiar person who is spotted at times in legal committees and Security Councils named Aprameya is alleged to be one of the chief contributors. But just like his connections to various intelligence organisations, his association with MUNtra is mired in mystery.
